Little entrepreneurs and artisans entering the program will access more than 220 markets and receive specialized advice to export their products
Almost four months later, since April 28, of the signing of the agreement between theMinistry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries (MPCEIP)and theEcuadorian Association of Express Messaging Companies and Courier (ASEMEC),for the implementation of theExporting program, this was officially launched last Monday, in Quito, through a panel website.
Exporting is aimed at facilitating exports of micro, small and medium enterprises to organizations of the popular and solidarity economy and artisans, by sending throughcourierswith emphasis on the diversification of products, markets and actors.
This program is also framed in priority public policy, promoted by Executive Decree 68 To reactivate exports of this productive segment and is one of the coordination actions between the public and private sector for economic reactivation.
Meanwhile, in the launching ceremony were MPCEIP authorities, business representatives couriers and panelists experts in logistics in the field of export, digital competitions, cross -border electronic commerce, packaging for international shipments and nationalization in destination.
Through this program, MSMEs will have a tool for the export of their products under the services ofcouriersNationally with door to door service, preferential rates, support in logistics, among others; They will also access more than 220 markets and receive specialized advice for the export of their products, he explainedEdith Villavicencio, President of ASEMEC,which is made up of eleven members:DHL, FedEx, UPS SCS, World Courier, Laarcourier, Siatigroup, Servientrega, Urbano Express, In-Express-Courier, Transsky y Tramacoexpress,that represent the67 %of the total market.
With the program it is expected to internationalize around 500 companies in the sector, which can access the services of companies affiliated with ASEMEC through their website :. Likewise, from the MPCEIP it was indicated that all facilities will be provided to the interested productive units.
