With $241 an Ecuadorian can travel to the Dominican Republic; Arajet starts ticket sales

The company arrived in Ecuador with a proposal for direct flights and with three types of fares: 'smart', comfort and extra.

The new Dominican airline Arajet began selling tickets to different destinations in Central America, South America and the Caribbean, which will connect with Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.

The low price company low cost has fares with prices starting at $55 each way and $149 round trip, including tax.

“For Ecuador we will have rates starting at $241 from Guayaquil and $262 from Quito round trip,including taxes. Thus, Ecuadorians will be able to enjoy the lowest rates," he said.Victor Pacheco, president of Arajet.

The first flight will be on September 15 to Barranquilla and Cali, in Colombia. In addition, from that date it will fly to Cartagena, in Colombia; Lima, in Peru; Guatemala City, in Guatemala; San Salvador, in El Salvador; and Saint Martin, Aruba and Curacao, in the Caribbean. While for Ecuador it is expected that the first flight toQuito takes place on November 2 and Guayaquil on November 3.

The airline also announced that in October it will increase its routes: flights to Toronto and Montreal, in Canada; Medellín and Bogotá, in Colombia; San Jose, in Costa Rica; and Kingston, Jamaica.

The network will be 20 destinations in twelve countries. The operations will be with five new Boeing 737 Max-800 aircraft.(I)
