During the event,The Telecommunications Minister of Ecuador,Vianna Maino, commented: "In the world in which we live, digital transformation and integration are the key to economic and social development. As a region we are launching an agenda that will allow us to walk on this direction." He said that the Andean digital agenda will establish a subregional strategy aimed at integrating challenges from our countries. "We are working for a citizen view as a whole, a regional citizenship," he added.

Among the specific actions included in the Agenda Roadmap is the issuance of guidelines to increase the digital transformation of state procedures and services, as well as boost the digitalization of cross -border procedures and the development ofsoftwarefree at the state level. In addition, policies are sought to promote cybersecurity by adopting international standards, harmonize broadband definition, study spectrum management policies and disruptive technologies to give connectivity to the Amazon region and isolated areas, as well as promote digital skills, especially those related to the fourth industrial revolution.

It also includes strategies for The adoption of Technologies 4.0 in MSMEs and Entrepreneurships, stimulate the use of digital channels for the promotion and sale of companies of companies, promote regional initiatives of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of things and data science, as well as develop co -financing projects to encourage the adoption of advanced technologies in prioritized economic sectors, among others.
