Meanwhile, OCP Ecuador Business Manager Guillermo Freire said the interconnection of terminalswill increase the load capacity of 700,000 to 2′000,000 barrels. According to the figures on the exports that are carried out through the OCP, the company said that from 2019 to 2020, the raw Napo exits increased to China, Chile and Panama by 3.52 %, 1.21 %and 9.66 %, respectively; And, today with the export of crude east, the participation of these markets could be expanded and improve the price of their marketing as there are more bidders for this.
The interconnection allows EP Petroecuador to use the OCP maritime terminal for receiving, storage and export of east of quality greater than 23 ° API.
