Puerto Bolívar received 11 RTG cranes as part of the port terminal modernization project

To comply with the equipment programming of the port terminal, this year it is expected to receive an RTG crane and four additional STS cranes.

ThePort Terminal of Puerto Bolívar, located in the province of El Oro, received 11 RTG cranes for the enhancement of its operations.

TheUndersecretariat of PortsHe informed that the arrival of the 11 cranes "will optimize the charging and discharge times of containers."

The acquisition responds to one of the main objectives set by the Public-Private Alliance, between the Yilport Manager and the Ecuadorian State:equip the port with high -tech and quality machinery, with a view to positioning it as one of the most competitive in the southern part of the country.

So far, the port has 17 RTG cranes, two Ship To Shore (STS) and two mobile cranes. To meet equipment programming, Until 2022 it is planned to receive an RTG crane and four additional STS crane.

Huascachaca wind farm

The Huascachaca wind farm, located in San Sebastián de Yuluc, in the province of Loja, is executed with an investment of $ 90 million financed with resources from the Bank of the State of Ecuador and with its own election funds, an entity attached to the Ministry of Energy and Non -Renewable Natural Resources.
