Tomorrow, Sunday, August 22, two million vaccines from Syovac will arrive in the country.

This Saturday, August 21, 2021, 54,000 new tired vaccines arrived at Mariscal de Quito airport to join the 9/100 vaccination plan, which records 16′235.098 between first and second doses applied to the national scale, according to the digital tool “Vaccinometer”.

These vaccines, which are United, are added to the 246,000 that arrived on August 18 and that are destined to vaccinate this weekend lagging people throughout the country and those who are in difficult access areas, in a situation of human mobility, people deprived of liberty (PPL) and located in “hot areas”, that is, in areas where the presence of the variant variant is evidenced.

The Ministry of Public Health organized this Saturday in the cities of Quito (Colosseum General Rumiñahui) and Guayaquil (Christian Benítez Stadium, in Samanes) the Great Minga of Vaccination against COVID-19, for citizens, transporters, business workers and their families, who received their first dose on July 18, 2021.

In this mass vaccination space, which had the support of the Armed Forces, National Police, Red Cross, Fire Department, Metropolitan Agency and Universities, people between 18 years and 60 who have not yet applied the vaccine were also vaccinated.

Also, on Sunday, August 22, in the afternoon, two million Vaccines from Syovac arrived in the country.
