Ecuador will show its 25 largest public investment projects at the Open for Business 2021

The forum will be this November 18 and 19 in Quito, in a hybrid format that hopes to attract 500 face -to -face participants and up to 2,000 virtual.

This week the Ecuador Open For Business 2021 investment forum will be held in Quito, this November 18 and 19, and in which the 25 largest public investment projects will be exhibited available in the country.

During these two days, more than 50 high -level speakers, including government officials, international development institutions, investors, executives of multinational private corporations and other interested parties, will share their experience around the business world.

There will also be round business tables, in which participants can connect with potential business partners and create long -term strategic alliances; and panels and conferences to deal with various topics of interest with an innovative approach, both for public-private associations and between private.

The event, which will take place in a hybrid format, hopes to attract 500 face -to -face participants and up to 2,000 virtual.

According to the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries, the sectors that will stand out during the summit include tourism, telecommunications, mining, renewable energy, hydrocarbons, finance, logistics, agri -food and housing. Innovation, gender equality, sustainable and impact investment, as well as public-private associations, will also have their space.

"Our goal is to improve the business climate and rebuild the economy of Ecuador through a transformation of productivity and competitiveness that will strengthen our key sectors. We establish the bases for a solid and sustainable economic recovery, based on long -term alliances and private investment," said Julio José Prado, Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fishing.

He added that the country has one of the most stable economies in the region.
