In this way, Latam adds this route to its promotion network in different parts of the region and the world, making Ecuador visible as a tourist and commercial destination.

Tickets are available in all Latam sales channels, such as www.latam.com, points of sale, agencies and Contact Center.

Meanwhile, Mónica Fistrovic, CEO of Latam Airlines Ecuador, assured that the opening of the new route will stimulate tourism between Colombia and Ecuador, as well as trade, production and other different objectives where connectivity is key.

“The opening of the Quito-Bogotá route is evidence of our commitment to continue connecting Ecuadorians and promoting Ecuador in other international destinations,” added the director.

For his part, the Minister of Tourism, Niels Olsen, pointed out that with this new direct route to Bogotá Ecuador improves its connectivity by offering more options, a greater number of seats and better prices to users.

“The Ministry of Tourism is working to improve national and international connectivity and with airlines as strategic allies we will very soon return to the frequencies and routes we had pre-pandemic,” said Olsen.
