AstraZeneca assures that its vaccine is 79% effective against COVID-19

In an effort to regain trust, the Anglo-Swedish laboratory AstraZeneca assured that its vaccine is 79% effective against COVID-19 and that it is safe.

New studies hope to restore confidence in the Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine, 79% effective and does not increase the risk of clots or thrombosis, 80% effective in people over 65 years of age.

These are the results of the third phase of efficiency trials of the COVID-19 vaccine in which thousands of volunteers participated in the United States, Peru and Chile.
