Portoviejo Invest will be presented in Quito with the aim of attracting national and foreign investment

During the event, Agustín Casanova Cedeño, mayor of the city, will detail the components that define this project, among them the Portoviejo 2035 Plan, considered the main cantonal planning instrument for good practices and sustainable development. Also the Sectoral Opportunities Program, which details the attractions to invest within a competitiveness framework, and a Project Catalog of the Municipal Government of Portoviejo, which will make visible the most representative investment initiatives of the territory with the relevant information on each project.

According to the organizers of the event,Portoviejo is projected as a strategic investment destination in Ecuador,due to its high agro-productive capacity, trained human talent and its tourism potential. In this sense, it could be the ideal space for the development of new businesses that promote the economic development of the entire canton.
