New US airline enters Ecuador to carry out cargo charter flights

National Civil Aviation Council approved Globalx operation that, according to authorities, will strengthen national trade and competitiveness.

The Globalx American airline already has the operation permit to provide its services in Ecuador.

The National Civil Aviation Council (CNAC) approved on Friday, May 20, 2022, said authorization requested by the company that this airline constituted in the country: Latinx Air S.A.S.

In Ecuador it will give the air, public, international transport service, not regulate in the modality of charter, of exclusive load, national authorities reported.

The Ministry of Transportation and Public Works, which chairs the Aviation Council, indicated that this measure will strengthen national trade. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Production stressed that Ecuador competes with efficient logistics and air loading. This state portfolio and tourism also integrate the Council.

Globalx Airlines is a US flag airline, based on Miami-Florida, and flies with Airbus A320 aircraft. It is the Latinx Air shareholder, which in the Superintendence of Companies states that it was constituted last January as foreign direct investment. Its base is Quito.

With this, the government ensures that it maintains its commitment to strengthen the country's commercial and tourist air connectivity.

In the information on the institutional page of the airline, customers are indicated: "When you rent a Globalx flight, the entire plane is yours and you determine when and where you want to travel. Globalx's charter flights offer the latest in flexibility and convenience."

The experience on board can be customized, including meals on board, drinks, entertainment.

And on Airbus A320 aircraft, it indicates that they offer a higher reach with the ability to fly up to 6.5 hours without scales. "With 150-180 seats on each plane, nobody is left behind. Our load capacity is perfect for sports equipment, school groups or organizations that need to travel with a lot of equipment."
