Holcim Ecuador exported 32,660 tons of bulk cement to the Peruvian market

The company invested $2.2 million to expand the infrastructure and complete exports

Ecuador carried out the first large-scale export of cement,32,660 tonsof cement in 16,330 two-ton BigBags, to the Peruvian market.

This was announced by Holcim Ecuador, a company that exported the product and assured that with this shipment the country tripled its capacity.

“This operation offers new options to the national and regional market, which involved 28 internal and external people, following a key process that took 40 days and 57,050 km traveled. As well as a significant investment of $2.2 million to expand the infrastructure and be able to make this project a reality,” the company reported.

The export was sent at the end of April with the objective of positioning Holcim Ecuador as an exporter of bulk cement in Latin America and thus diversifying its value offer in export issues. Currently, the company already has new offers in the region due to the great demand for cement that exists in other countries.
