Air Europa will increase frequencies by resuming its destinations to Latin America and the United States.

Air Europa will resume 20 of its 23 destinations in Latin America and the US.

With the gradual lifting of mobility restrictions, Air Europa will resume flights to 20 of its 23 destinations in Latin America and the US in July.

This Saturday, and after the US has relaxed its recommendations for traveling to Spain due to the improvement in the pandemic situation, will resume its flights to Miami and, starting on the 25th, will add its second American destination to its transoceanic network: New York.

From July 20, Air Europa will reactivate its flights to Panama and Salvador de Bahía, so the level of recovery of long-haul routes, in relation to its 'pre-covid' operations, will now reach 87%.

With the addition of Miami, New York, Salvador de Bahía and Panama, the airline offers flights aboard its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet to Cancún, Havana, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Guayaquil, Quito, Bogotá, Medellín, Lima, San Pedro Sula, Caracas, Sao Paulo, Montevideo, Santa Cruz, Asunción and Buenos Aires.

Its objective is to accentuate weekly frequencies, based on a greater opening of the different countries and an increase in traffic, such as its route to Santo Domingo, which is already operated daily by the company.

Requirements for travelers

Spain opened to travelers on June 7 and will admit those who have vaccination and recovery certificates from the European Union (EU) and countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), and also vaccinated tourists from countries outside the EU.

The vaccination certificate must be for authorized vaccines: Pzfizer-Biontech – Moderna – Astra-Zeneca – Jansen/Johnson&Johnson – Sinovac – Sinopharm.

If you do not have vaccination, you must present the Diagnostic Test of Active Infection (PDIA) for SARS-CoV-2 with a negative result, carried out within 48 hours prior to arrival in Spain.

Likewise, gradually and following the evolution of demand, the airline will add new frequencies to its European routes, as reported in a statement.

Air Europa, which has made a new fare structure available to passengers and has accentuated its flexibility policy, flies its entire transoceanic network with its fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, capable of reducing emissions by up to 20%, compared to any another aircraft of similar size, and up to 60% of its acoustic impact.

These planes are equipped with HEPA or high-efficiency filters, the same ones used in hospital environments and capable of capturing particles that contain viruses with an efficiency of more than 99.9%.
